Nestled at the southwestern tip of mainland Philippines, Anilao is a treasure trove of ocean biodiversity. During a self-funded solo expedition, I captured images highlighting a variety of macro marine life, emphasising their size, colour, pattern and texture. The resulting photographs feature vibrant nudibranchs, cuttlefish, the illusive blue ringed octopus, pygmy seahorses, mating mandarin fish and an array of soft and hard corals.
